Sunday Race France, Magny Cours

Very exciting race especially because what happened to Kimi and his Ferrari. He suffered a extencive damage to the exaust and had to move to faster Brasilian behind him. Non of the less Ferrari celibrated dubble victory.

A great resoult was achieved by Jarno Truli. He maneged to finnish third!! There was a great battle with him and Heikki in the final stages of the race. Expirience won this battle as much slower Toyota maneged to stay infront of much faster McLaren Mercedes.

Qualifying session Magny Cours

The pole position was secured by Kimi. Massa qualified second, so it was a perfect score for Ferrari! Fernando Alonso squeezed himself in to third place. Lewis Hamilton (after the penalty from the Canadian GP) maneged to come on 13 place and Nico Rosberg on last.

Fernando Alonso and Filipe Massa showed their form and determination to win the French GP by setting fastest laps on Friday! Piquet dominated the Saturday free practise, showing that Renault is suited very well on the home circuit in Magny-Cours
